 Neora

Neora Valley National Park is located in the Kalimpong division below Darjeeling District, West Bengal, and was established in 1986. The name Neora is derived from the River Neora smooth throughout it and it spreads over a local area of 88 km and is one of the richest organic zones in the whole Northeast. Neora Valley is called the land of the graceful red panda. It is also thought that the fresh habitation with rugged unreachable mountainous land and plentiful varied flowers and fauna make this park a vital wilderness zone. The whole forest is covered by mountain streams which are ravishing to see and feel the actual natural scent.

 Oodlabari

Oodlabari is a tiny city on the National Highway 31 that passes during Dooars. The small-scale city is located about 40 kms from Siliguri. On the west of the city is the river Leesh and on its east is the river Chel. Oodlabari survives in the middle of two rivers. To the south of the city, just 5 kms apart is the forests of Baikunthapur with its famous Kathambari variety that is home of Asiatic elephants. Towards the North of Oodlabari, space for about 4 kms to arrive at the stunning foothills of the Himalayas. The spots of Oodlabari make it one of the most remarkable locations of Dooars. However the town itself has a wearisome appearance but is advanced to attract travelers for its actual normal look.

 

 Paren

Paren in Dooars is one more little village on the edges of the Neora Valley National Park. It covers a distance of 112 kms from Siliguri and 10 km apart from Jaldhaka. Paren is famous for its woodland area, mountainous terrain, meandering rivers and farming fields, it is a perfect location for nature lovers.
