Tawang Tour Packages
Day 1
Airport Pickup, Guwahati to Nameri (240km/5hrs)
When you arrive at the Guwahati airport or train station, our representative will greet you and show you to the car of your choice. Get into the car and head to Nameri, which is 200 kilometers away in five hours. Once you reach Nameri, check into the hotel for the duration of your stay.
Day 2
Nameri to Dirang (160Km/6hrs)
We will transport you to Nameri National Park early in the morning. The Nameri Tiger Reserve, which located beneath Project Tiger, is home to a wide variety of fish, animals, and reptiles in addition to more than 300 different species of birds, including the rare and endangered "White Winged Wood Duck" and tigers in action. Adventurers and unconventional travelers can trace and raft down the Jia Borali River (smooth water rafting) after breakfast. Driving uphill to Dirang, the entering Arunachal Pradesh (also known as "the land of raising sun"), after lunch. The location welcomes you with breathtaking waterfalls, hazy rivers, and valleys. Return to the hotel for a restful overnight stay after this delightful and unforgettable exploration.
Day 3
Dirang to Tawang (145Km/7hrs)
Discover Dirang, a small mountain station in the west Kameng area, after breakfast. Its breathtaking scenery will undoubtedly please your eyes and calm your body and spirit. We will travel to Kalachakra Gompa, commonly known as Dirang Monastery, and take in the serene surroundings. Beautiful kiwi orchids, followed by Dirang Dzong (fort), which is just 150 years old and has a great perspective of the surrounding area. Later, head to Tawang, where the Kameng River flows over a hillside. Sela Pass, the observer, world second highest motor able road, with brilliant coloured flags fluttering all around at an elevation of 13,700ft. Know just about Jaswant Garh memorial-cum-Mandir. Enjoy stunning Nuranang Fall (Bong Bong Fall), 100m height. Later than this pulsating and soul-stirring journey have a tepid and comfortable during night stay in Tawang.
Day 4
Tawang Sightseeing (70km/6hrs)
After breakfast, take a holy tour of Tawang Monastery (Galden Namgyal Lhatse), the second largest Buddhist monastery in Asia and the largest in India. It was constructed in the 17th century, almost 350 years ago.Examine ancient artifacts related to the Mompa people of Tawang and Tawang Monastery.Take in the breathtaking views of Tawang Township, which is surrounded by towering mountains.Next, we visit The Tawang War Memorial, a striking stupa built in honor of the valiant troops who gave their lives during the 1962 SinoIndian War.Get a Mompa traditional mask as a memento from Craft Centre Emporium and a house rug made by local women.Enjoy a light and sound spectacle in the evening.After that, head back to your accommodation to spend the night in Tawang.
Day 5
Around Tawang (Bumla Pass) Sightseeing (150km/7hrs)
After breakfast, begin your day with a stunning view of Shongatser Lake (Madhuri Lake), which is encircled by snowcapped mountains and the valley.Proceed to Bum La Pass, which is located at 15,200 feet above sea level and is roughly 37 kilometers from Tawang. It is the border between India and China.Visit Heart Lake, PTSO Lake, and Naghula Lake on the way back; these will brighten your day.After that, head back to your hotel for a restful Tawang night.
Day 6
Zemithang Tour
Start from Tawang Begin your journey early via the Lumla route to maximize daylight. Enjoy the scenic transition from high-altitude terrain to lush river valleys.Lumla Stopover A quick drive-through or brief stop at Lumla market. You can catch stunning views of the surrounding hills.BTK Waterfall (Bapteng Kang) Stop for photographs at this gorgeous roadside waterfall cascading down the valley.Gorsam Chorten (Zemithang) Arrive at the magnificent 12th-century stupa—the largest in the region, modeled after the Boudhanath Stupa in Nepal. Spend time walking around the massive structure and spinning the prayer wheels. Lunch by the Nyamjang Chu River Head down toward Zemithang Circle HQs. Enjoy a packed lunch or simple local meal by the riverbank. Keep an eye out for rare black-necked cranes if visiting in winter.Optional Exploration Visit nearby traditional Monpa villages (like Lumpo) or head briefly toward the historical Khinzemane area (subject to local checkpoint permissions where the 14th Dalai Lama entered India).Return Journey to Tawang Start driving back along the same route before it gets dark. Arrive back in Tawang & Overnight Stay.
Day 7
Tawang to Chuna Valley (via Mago)
Start extremely early in a sturdy SUV / 4x4 vehicle (essential due to rough mountain terrain and remote roads). The drive takes about 4 hours one way (approx. 70–80 km), tracking past winding mountain streams and dramatic valley ridges. (Note: Some travelers prefer launching from Jang to save about an hour of driving). Arrive at the remote, unhurried high-altitude settlement of Mago. Take a short break, stretch your legs, let the vehicle cool down, and pack light dry snacks (as there are no commercial restaurants here).Explore Chuna Valley Drive the final 12 km stretch from Mago to Chuna Valley (~13,000 ft). Take in the breathtaking landscape featuring vast emerald green meadows, grazing yak herds, rustic suspension bridges, and seasonal Bropka community settlements. Check out local points of interest like the natural hot springs (believed to have therapeutic properties) and pristine mountain streams. Packed Lunch amidst Nature Enjoy a packed lunch while soaking in the absolute isolation and surreal Himalayan wilderness near the Indo-China border. Pack up and start driving back toward Tawang before weather conditions shift or daylight fades at high altitude. Arrival Back in Tawang Reach Tawang by evening for a well-earned dinner and rest.
Day 8
Tawang to Bomdila (185Km/8hrs)
We shall proceed to Bomdila after lunch.Visit Bomdila Monastery, which received recognition in 1965.Discover over 5000 orchid varieties at Tipi Orchidarium, including some of the rarest species.On the way to the airport dropoff the next day, you will be shown this.Take in the breathtaking view of Bomdila from Bomdila View Point and marvel at the city's flawless beauty. Enjoy the local market in the evening. After that, head back to your hotel to spend the night in Bomdila.
Day 9
Bomdila to Guwahati, Airport Drop (350km/8hrs)
After breakfast, head to Guwahati.Lastly, we will drop you off to the Guwahati Airport at a convenient hour for your departure, leaving you with wonderful memories.Note: If you require any modifications to the normal itinerary, please specify them in your inquiry, and we will provide you with a bespoke package file that includes quotes.

• Accommodation will be provided on a shared basis along with the specified meal plan.
• We will arrange all transportation in a dedicated air-conditioned vehicle driven by a professional.
• The package includes breakfast.
• The cost for the Inner Line Permit for Arunachal Pradesh and its processing fees is covered.
• Pickup and drop-off services will be available from Guwahati Airport, Railway Station, or Bus Station.
• All sightseeing activities, land transfers, and transfers between hotels are included.
• Covered expenses consist of driver fees, tolls, parking charges, road taxes, fuel costs, night stays, interstate fees, Kaziranga Forest toll charges, and forest guard welfare expenses.
• A child under the age of 5 sharing a bed with parents will be free of charge, in accordance with hotel policies.

• All personal expenditures along with any other activities not specified in the schedule.
• Food that is not included in the schedule.
• A 5% Goods and Services Tax will be applied to the overall amount.
• Optional sightseeing around Tawang (including Bumla Pass, PTSO Lake, Naghula Lake, Sangester Lake, etc.) taxi costs are not part of the package (a local taxi is essential for sightseeing).
• Admission fees for tourist attractions, charges for photography, and optional service costs such as rafting, trekking, and guide fees are not covered in the package.
• Anything that is not listed in the 'Inclusions' section.
• For international travelers, additional fees such as entry to national parks, Protected Area Permits, and compulsory guide fees (for trips in Arunachal State) are not included.
