Although they are more expensive, private air-conditioned buses are also available and offer additional comfort. Every day at four in the morning, buses are available from Aberdeen Bazaar to the Port Blair Central Bus Stop. However, seats are limited, and reservations must be made in advance for the tour. A private AC vehicle can also be rented. This is a great place to halt, especially if you are traveling to Diglipur. 2. Swim at Ross and Smith
A sight to behold is the islands of Smith and Ross. A slender sand bar that is fifty meters long connects these magnificent twin islands. At high tide, this smooth white sand bar sinks into the water, and at low tide, it rises once more. The wild virgin beaches are among the most picturesque on the islands, and the warm waters are glistening pure. The nicest thing is that you can usually enjoy the entire vista by yourself because the beach is rarely crowded. 4. Trek to See Active Mud Volcanoes
Amid thick forest cover, Diglipur's Mud volcanoes are a sight to behold. Similar to its Baratang cousins, these are tiny muddy craters formed by natural gasses released by subterranean decomposing organic debris, which gradually pushes the muck upward. Since there is typically only a heap of dried mud and a few bubbling puddles, it is not a particularly impressive sight. Nonetheless, one can explore 41 active muddy craters while taking in the local wildlife and scenery. 5. Relax at Lamia Bay Beach
